CERAMIC PROJECT OCTOBER 2014

Rhinoceros Beetle

"Some species, such as the Hercules Beetle, have been known to lift up to 850 times their own weight... " (Wikipedia)

I selected this insect to represent the idea of humanity... we are carrying more that we can... it is of course my opinion...

I added some human heads to link the art work between animals with persons.

All my Art work has a psychological explanation.... I can't forget my Art Therapy training...

The heads are faces without mouth, I continue working with my own process... living in a lovely country where I do not speak my mother's language and the difficulty to express myself fluently...

This artwork is dedicated to my sister Diana Garcia, she has taught me what it is to be persevere in the life!
